This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit uses a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP TEFC Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor on a 182 NEMA frame. Power requirements are 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with across the line starting. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This pump complies with EISA standards and maintains a PEI of 0.88 with an HI Energy Rating of 12.
