This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. The pump construction includes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for internal servicing without disconnecting the system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This unit is configured with a 25 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 284 JM frame with feet. It operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power and complies with NEMA premium efficiency standards. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The pump assembly utilizes an across the line starting option and a 40°C ambient rating. This pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.94.
