This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction connection, and a 1-1/2" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction, featuring a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor in a 145 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a welded base with an integrated drip pan, and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.85 and uses an across-the-line starting method.
