This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump casing is cast iron. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. This unit is configured for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump is powered by a 3 HP motor with an ODP enclosure and operates at 1150 RPM. It utilizes a NEMA 213 T-frame and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. The motor is a Baldor unit that meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler to connect the pump and the motor.
