This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact with the shaft assembly. Integrated pressure tappings are provided at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and is mounted on a NEMA 286TS frame. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This pump is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
