This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
This pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 1750 RPM. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is built with a 184 JM motor frame with feet. The unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.86. The motor enclosure is TEFC, and the pump uses a top center line discharge configuration.
