This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, capable of handling clean water up to 300°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, center-line discharge for air venting, and integrated flush seal line taps.
The pump is driven by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, NEMA 284 T frame, and operates at 1750 RPM. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH with across the line starting. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This assembly features sealed-for-life bearings and maintains a PEI of 0.97.
