This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 182T frame. It is configured for a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
