This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP motor in a NEMA 256T frame. The Baldor TEFC motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. The system utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.91.
