This close-coupled end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller for fluid movement. The internal design incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. Sealing is managed by a mechanical seal assembly comprised of a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber. The entire assembly maintains a 125 PSI pressure rating. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump integrates flush seal line taps to allow for filter installation.
This assembly utilizes a 1.5 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
