This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP, TEFC, WEG motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with across the line starting and a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor using a standard Woods coupler. The pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.92.
