This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM using a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump system has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
