This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and utilizes a 286 JM frame style with feet. The motor complies with NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. Performance is documented with a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
