This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing that includes an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump assembly features a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration. A mechanical seal is used, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, TEFC Baldor motor. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. The motor frame is a 286T with greasable bearings and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A standard Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, and the assembly is rated for operation in a 40 °C ambient environment.
