This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. It is constructed with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design and includes ANSI Class 250 flanges. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps to support maintenance and monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 213T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump and motor. This unit is rated at 40°C ambient and features a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
