This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a centerline discharge and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration, preventing contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber provides fluid containment, while the structure maintains a 125 PSI pressure rating. Gauge ports are integrated at both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The 15 HP premium efficiency ODP motor operates at 1750 RPM and incorporates Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V / 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
