This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter. The construction consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit features a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and the top center line discharge design allows for rear pullout servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor, which meets MG1-12.55 standards. It operates at 1150 RPM and utilizes a TEFC enclosure. The motor is configured with a 254 JM frame with feet and supports 230-460/60/3 PH power. This configuration uses an across-the-line starting option and operates in a 40 °C ambient environment. The pump provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
