This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid transfer. The design incorporates a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve for corrosion resistance within a dry shaft mechanical seal configuration, which prevents fluid from contacting the shaft. The assembly accommodates pressures up to 125 PSI and utilizes a ceramic seat half with EPT rubber elements to provide sealing performance. This pump construction omits a wear ring.
Operating with a 10 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor at 3450 RPM, the pump utilizes Aegis Grounding and operates on 200-230V / 3PH power with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
