This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. This unit is designed for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps along with gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230-460V/60Hz/3PH Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant guard. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI of 0.92. This configuration supports across the line starting and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
