This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve mounted on a stainless steel shaft. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. It integrates a ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber to manage system pressure up to 125 PSI. Pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections allow for gauge installation, while the volute provides center-line discharge for positive air venting.
The pump utilizes a 75 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding and a 380-460V, 3PH power supply. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
