This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and incorporates a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings for monitoring suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP TEFC motor manufactured by WEG. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and utilizes a NEMA 215 T frame. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This configuration meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
