This close-coupled end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid transfer. The assembly integrates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates circulating fluid contact with the shaft, while the mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. Rated for 125 PSI operation, the pump includes a wear ring to support hydraulic performance.
The pump operates with a 30 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, integrating Aegis grounding and a 200-230V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
