This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction, and a 2" discharge. The internal assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. The motor is configured with a 256 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply requirement is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across-the-line starting and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump system has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
