This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is constructed with a dry shaft design and a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. Electrical requirements are 575V, 60Hz, 3PH. The unit uses an across the line starting option, CCW rotation, and follows NEMA standards. The pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
