This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal mechanical seal utilizes a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing is drilled and tapped for gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps. This model is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure. This unit uses a NEMA 286 T-frame motor, configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. This equipment is rated with a PEI value of 0.9.
