This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly uses a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and incorporates a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F and provides gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 326T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
