This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing with center-line discharge. It includes a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft configuration and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Connections are provided via ANSI Class 125 flanges, and the casing includes gauge ports for monitoring pressure.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH, and the motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler. This pump configuration has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
