This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. It also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP WEG motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a 326 JM frame with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3, utilizing across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and CCW rotation. This configuration has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.93.
