This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit features a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This pump uses across the line starting and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
