This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 10" diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates a top center line discharge and a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing the system piping. It also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a NEMA 254 JM frame with feet and operates on 380/60/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The motor starting method is across the line, and the unit is configured for CCW rotation.
