This close-coupled end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration that protects the pump shaft from contact with the circulating fluid. A replaceable bronze shaft sleeve assists with seal maintenance, while the internal mechanical seal incorporates a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components. The construction accommodates up to 125 PSI operation and integrates a wear ring to support hydraulic performance.
Operating with a 30 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor at 3450 RPM, the pump utilizes Aegis grounding and functions on 380-460V / 3PH power with a DOE PEI of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
