This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit features a rear pullout design for servicing, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor features a JM frame style with feet and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. It operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, with a PEI value of 0.92. The assembly does not include a drip cover.
