This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is driven by a 1 HP Baldor motor at 1750 RPM. This motor features an ODP enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power. It operates in a 40 °C ambient environment and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The starting option is across the line. This pump assembly has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
