This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and a slip-on shaft sleeve for maintenance access. It is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump operates at temperatures up to 250 °F and utilizes a rear pullout design to facilitate servicing.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 284 JM frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This pump assembly includes an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C and maintains a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.89.
