This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring and a rear pullout configuration for service access. The pump uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 213 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA standard motor requirements, adheres to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings, and has a DOE PEI of 0.83. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a counter-clockwise rotation.
