This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The unit is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This equipment operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is built on a NEMA 184T frame and utilizes a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses an OSHA-compliant coupler guard over a standard Woods coupler. The bearing frame is equipped with greasable bearings. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
