This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. It is equipped with a mechanical seal utilizing a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump connects to system piping via 6" suction and 5" discharge ports with ANSI Class 125 flanges. Standard features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM and is configured with across the line starting. The electrical input is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. The motor is mounted in a 286 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI of 0.94. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates piping layouts.
