This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply with Across the Line starting. The motor utilizes a 256 T NEMA frame and features AEGIS shaft grounding to maintain premium efficiency as defined by MG1-12.55. The pump and motor are mounted on a welded steel base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
