This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes a NEMA 182 T frame. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It utilizes a standard Woods coupling with greasable bearings in the bearing frame. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
