This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and incorporates flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and piping alignment.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP TEFC WEG motor. It is configured with a 182 JM motor frame style with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The electrical input is 230-460/60/3 PH with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards and complies with Super E Premium Efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
