This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve within a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal containing a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and is equipped with greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The system uses a NEMA 213 T-frame motor and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. It features across-the-line starting, premium efficiency motor ratings, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA standards at a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
