This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 10" suction and 8" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP, TEFC, WEG motor in a NEMA 405 T frame. It is configured for 460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The system is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. This unit features greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94 and complies with NEMA standards at a 40 °C ambient temperature.
