This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing and a hydraulically balanced bronze impeller to provide fluid circulation. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents contact with the circulating fluid through a dry shaft design. Rated for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI, the pump includes a replaceable bronze wear ring and a ceramic mechanical seal with EPT elastomers. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated ball bearings to support continuous operation within the system.
Powered by a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor, this assembly operates at 1750 RPM and incorporates Aegis grounding on a 380-460V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
