This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. The pump includes 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is built on a 184 JM frame with feet. The assembly operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature, meets NEMA standards, and is configured for CCW rotation. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.83.
