This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge supports self-venting. The nominal impeller diameter is 9-1/2".
The pump is configured with a 60 HP, 3450 RPM motor in a 326 JM frame style with feet. It uses a WEG motor with an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The electrical specifications are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The assembly operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and counter-clockwise rotation according to NEMA standards. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
