This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve using a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor utilizes a 213 T-frame, meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
