This centrifugal end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge for air venting. The assembly integrates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal manages fluid containment within the internal dry shaft configuration, which prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The pump housing maintains a pressure rating of 125 PSI in configurations without a wear ring.
The pump utilizes a 3 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH electricity, and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
