This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design to allow for maintenance without disturbing system piping. This unit does not feature a wear ring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. The motor is a TEFC enclosure, NEMA standard, with a 213 frame size in a JM style with feet. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and CCW rotation. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. Across the line starting is the standard configuration, and the pump meets a PEI rating of 0.91. The top center line discharge design allows for vertical piping connections.
