This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
The pump is configured with a 7 1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1150 RPM and requires 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a top center line discharge to simplify piping layout and reduce strain.
