This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The internal assembly includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design isolates the shaft from system fluids to prevent corrosion. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps for optional particle filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies installation.
This unit is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM with a TEFC enclosure and uses across the line starting. The motor is rated for 230-460/60/3PH power supply at a 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
